e Ana Mendes. Consistiu no projecto e concretização do protótipo de um triciclo/bicicleta evolutiva para crianças entre os 2 e os 6 anos.
This was a group project made by Mariana Fidalgo, Inês Delgado, Inês Boiça, Margarida Morais and Ana Mendes. In this project we had to create and develop a tricycle/balance bicycle for children with ages between 2 and 6 years old.
biU é um triciclo/bicicleta evolutiva que se adapta ao crescimento da criança e cresce com ela, tornando-se num objecto de carácter afectivo que a criança pode personalizar ao seu gosto, tornando-a sua.

an object of affective nature that the child can personalize and make it his own. On a first stage it can be used with three wheels, helping the child at an early stage, when stability is very important for the child to get used to the tricycle movements. The second stage, with only two wheels, it's ideal for the children balance training before using a bike with pedals.
